What is VPS Technology?
VPS hosting is the method of partitioning a physical server computer into multiple virtual servers that each has the appearance and capabilities of running on its own dedicated machine. Each virtual server can run its own full-fledged operating system, and each server can be independently rebooted. It is simply hardware abstraction and can provide lower costs but still maintain an isolated environment for your applications.

What is the difference between FusionLink VPS and the other providers?
Big difference, we use true VPS technology with VMware. Many providers use kernel level sharing software that looks and feels a lot like virtualization but really is not. All of our VPS solutions provide true hardware abstraction and OS level isolation. It is more costly for us to do this, but we believe in doing things correctly.

How many IP addresses can I get? What would the cost be?
We issue IP addresses for the account based on the current and projected needs of the client. The IP Addresses are free of charge.
